By the end of 2015, NetGen was commissioned to manage a program to design, develop and to globally implement new CRM (Customer relationship Management) system for one of the largest companies in the world. You can imagine the proudness that came over us. Based on SalesForcedotcom we developed a user interface, attached to an SAP backbone using Teradata as the datawarehouse. After development we started in India with the lead deployment estimating that all functionalities would be tested to the max. This took most of 2016 and we are now in the stage of starting up the mass deployment. Not without the expected flaws i have to admit. But looking back form idea to first countries going live, not a bad program.

To make sure to keep the balance took the family on a fantastic trip through Nepal for two weeks. Exploring the Himalaya’s and visiting several cities and specific locations. We had a great time and for now it is back to normal life. The academic years for the children took off and they are progressing almost nominal.

a lot has happened

Just go back from Atlanta US. A lot has happened between the last post and now. Team is working on a global solution to incorporate the Unique device Identifier into the global IT landscape of one of hour esteemed customers. As this is once a global endeavor we get to meet several teams working on several parts of this solution. We are now in a phase to join the different parts together in a working solution. At home we reached the nominal output as intended.

Project admin becomes a hassle.

Working at several projects at the same time on a scale we have them at NetGen IT Services BV brings in a lot of administration. Exception Report at the export situation in China, End Project report for the global direct returns project and now the Project Charter for the new Program; incorporating 25 call centers catering for 66 countries is bringing quite some work to the table. The nice thing is to meet all kind of  new colleagues from fe. interactive intelligence. I also like the connection we are making with Sales Force.com. Welcome! Photography is at a low pace right now. Just no time to do the rework in lightroom, too many raw pictures.

Max Raabe

Last Friday Max Raabe and The Palast Orchestra came to my home town. This gig is world-famous and sels out Carnegie hall in 4 minutes. In Ehv. the venue has half filled. Anyhow a historic moment in time. Max Raabe for the first time in the Netherlands and we where there!
