Had a meeting with the sales guys from IBM. Word is that Iseries is going down. Seems te be bad news. NetGen is changing its path from selling software into selling consultancy.

Spent a couple of days in the German Sauerland at the easter weekend. Pictures of the Ramsbeck mining museum. Great story how this industrie was built on one big hoax. A business man put silver in the output of the mine and everybody thought it came out of the mountain. The mines were shut down in 1974 due to the fall of the dollar/ deutch mark. The output of the mines was 50% down in one stroke! How is that for a perspective!

My Faxmachine died yesterday and that is the reason why I bought a new one. Not that I am using a fax daily but every now and then it comes in handy. It is incredible how low prices are. This machine is a copier/ fax/ scanner/ photo capture in one tiny machine. It is not suited for "bulk" but for me it is perfect. The price was just over € 100,- (The toner is not cheap).

Hi you all. Long time no posts. Being rather busy all day. Had a good first three months of this year. all hours are sold. Today I took the disicion to cut back on my days at the large ERP vendor. It will cost money but on the other hand it will give more time to undertake new business. I am working now on a "menu list" on what we can sel. hip hip .....
We have to change our business model from selling software and consultancy about implementing the applications into consultancy on RFP, RFI, aiding on implementing, consultancy around implementations on ERP, CRM, BI, MRP etcetera....
