Stratums Eind. Yes my friends, take one good look again. Soon this will be demolished and a devolloper will earn some money. There is nothing wrong with that. But the Eindhoven civel servants are allowing yet another hiddeous new building on this place. Again a missed opportunity.

Vet ferrum

Willem K. and myself received an invitation (thanks to the organisation) to enter the ferrum cup Sabre fencing tournament taking place june 1st. I wonder how we are performing, not having trained to much and weighing just a little bit to much. This "illegal" sabre fencing tournament is underground but that is what is making it so interesting.

Have a look at this! 1938. Not the first half of the video but after the bell when the sabre final takes place. What a difference with nowadays. In this time there would be multiple scores. Anyhow it looks nice.
Last wednesday I visited the almighty guru in his new dwelling. He got his places hooked up "Nasa Style". Apple takes a central place in his setting. What a perfect set up compared with my own. Internet, I TV and Itunes and a "slingbox" and even a playstation 3 for the blue ray (and games ofcourse). The slingbox enabling him to watch his own TV where ever in the world he wants to look. Not only the electronics but also the place itself. What a nice place in this converted church. Well done man!

Once more a perfect weekend in Knokke Belgium. Met all kind of nice and interesting people. Inge S., my first love, who I haven“t seen for some 25 years. She is doing fine with a nice husband and two beautiful sons. At the time she and here family left the beach I bumped into Frank K. and his fabulous wife Margret. At the terras at ScapaSports (overlooking the Polo event) we had a perfect time in the sun.
My new friend, Jose from Argentina, traveling all the way to play several games at the beach polo event. Q music was his team.
These ponies are ready for action!
These Deer are walking around freely.
The boys are grasped by the armourshop at the Royal Mile. The most deadliest weapons for reasonable prices.

Glencoe, three sisters. Very rughed terrain. The place where the English slaughtered the clan MacDonald.

have a look at some pictures of the scotland trip:

This is what I mean. The above picture shows you a part of the production line of a very famous whisky producer. In our regulated country this would not be possible due to governamental regulations and ISO shit. This way seems to make life a bit easier, the fillers having a great time.
The batle of Culloden changed the western european history. Not good against bad but catholics against protestants. The catholics (scottish highlanders) lost to the protestant (english). Some 1500 highlanders were killed on this day in 1746. It seemed that the English had a far superior organisation in batle.

We took the lot up to Scotland on a little trip. We stayed in the neighbourhood of Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis. What a fantastic country. Loads of land, no traffic, no ques and great nature. Life here is perfect. Bought myself a bottle of Lagavulin. smooth!
Boris on his way to the top of Ben Nevis. What an adventure. Almost every day gusting winds and lots of snow, even in the summer. Did not know that this mountain is in the top 5 of British tourist attractions. If you are in the neighbourhood, go up the path and be amazed!
