Demolition mama at work. We covered a lot of ground. It always surprises me how much things you have to drain away out of an "empty" house.

I started of with a chisel and hammer, and this was the result after 4 hours of chopping away in reinforced concrete. A helping nabour brougth his drill hammer. In half hour the complete floor was clean. The right tool makes the job much easier.

Here we go again. Lots of work in this property. We have to upgrade some 40 years.

Pierre B. Thanks for the tickets. It was a long time ago that I visited the Dutch soccer team. This evening it was Slovenia. After an apoling game (2-0) for the Netherlands, I went home wondering why the soccer players earn so much money. They sure do not work for it. Any other game would have pleased the audience more. The game was horrible, bad and not worth looking at. The Orange wave was funny..

This weekend we had the Eindhoven Marathon. This picture is taken after 15 km. near the PSV stadium. Some 15.000 participants, some 140.000 spectators, all along the road. 8342 was my number this tour. http://www.marathoneindhoven.nl/ . What a marvelous event. The weather was perfect for an oktober day. Next year I will train properly and not just enter the event. Bad planning on my side......

Today was one of those days that all came together and fell into place.
I sold the Maserati (lots of tears especially with the boys), had a great meeting with a prospective situation that suits me perfect. I´ll let you know how it ends. Furthermor finalised a real estate deal that I was working on for some weeks
The Best Logo ever!
We do not want to part from the Maserati. I had it for more then 4 years and had a great time with it. It never gave me any problems, warming up the engine is the answer; once warmed up "unleashe the monster within" That car was fast...

Yesterday I heard about the fact that SAP is taking over Business Objects. It reminded me of the years gone by. In the early nineties I worked together with Hans Geelhoed. Hans being a visionair at all kind of IT relates matters had some meetings with Bernard Liautaud the CEO and President of Business Objects. Hans started off with Business Objects in the Netherlands, not only bringing one of the best BI tools to the market it also brought him the freedom he wanted. http://businessobjects.com/

What i really like about Business Objects in The Netherlands is the office in Bilthoven. They transformed an old villa into a very nice office location. See the picture above!
We had a couple of interesting days. Lots of vibrant activities going on. TeamCisif is steaming ahead with some very prosperous organisations and some great ideas. We had the Figi meeting in Zeist this year. Some 500 participants. I love Zeist, it has some nice old features....
The main road at Zeist, The Netherlands.
